This
is the second of the scenarios from AOBA. Click on the picture
below for a larger printable version or visit the AOBA
web site for more detail.
The
second scenario assumes that you will sell all the offspring
that are produced by your females each year, with the exception
of a single female cria retained for breeding purposes. Your
herd size grows based on the retention of the female and the
birth of additional females.
As with
most financial projections and investment strategies there
is an element of risk. The value of your animals will depend
on the type of animal that you have, color, bloodlines, sex
and so on. There are some ways to mitigate the investment
risk that we can discuss with you.
